Don't Discourage or Mislead the Youth

And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of G~D in mine hand.  Exodus 17:9

But when Y'hshuah saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of G~D.  Mark 10:14

Children are valued and loved by G~D and HIS people.  As a youth, Joshua became Moses protégé.  The children of Israel left Egypt in Exodus 12, by the 17th Chapter, Joshua was leading the army.  By the 20th Chapter, he was servant to Moses and was one of the two spies out of the twelve that brought back a favorable report.  When the Israelites lacked faith to enter the Promised land, he and Caleb were the only 2 to survive the 40 years in the wilderness and Joshua literally led them in to the Promised Land, at the direction of G~D.  Joshua was a child leaving Egypt and was not hindered, but by faith the promise belonged to him.

Do NOT Add or Subtract regarding the Word

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of YHVH your G~D which I command you.  Deuteronomy 4:2

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, G~D shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, G~D shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.  Revelation 22:18, 19

G~D is very clear from Torah to the last days.  There is no "picking and choosing."  No embellishment of ordinances, nor excuses of ignorance.  No deletion of statutes and no fictional dramas and detours.

Commandments

Ye shall do My judgments, and keep Mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am YHVH your G~D.  Ye shall therefore keep My statutes, and My judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am YHVH.  Leviticus 18:4, 5

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the Commandments of G~D, and have the testimony of Y'hshuah Messiah.  Revelation 12:17

In Genesis G~D told both Noah and Abraham there were rules or laws for a person that enters covenant with G~D.  In Exodus, G~D gave the Commandments to Moses.  And now, here we have from Leviticus to the Revelation, G~D's expectation clearly and simply explained.  According to the Revelation, Calvary did not eliminate the Commandments, but rather His death affords us forgiveness.  Our testimony is the death and resurrection of Y'hshuah, our lifestyle is obedience to the Commandments.

G~D's Blessing

YHVH bless thee, and keep thee:  YHVH make HIS face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:  YHVH lift up HIS countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.  Numbers 6:24-26

The grace of our Lord Y'hshuah Messiah be with you all. Amen.    Revelation 22:21

G~D's blessing upon HIS people from the wilderness to the new heaven and new earth.  G~D has so much more planned for HIS people than we could even think to ask.  As you think of these blessings spoken - ponder these words in your heart.  What else could a person want or need?

Difference between Need and Greed

This is the thing which YHVH hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.  Exodus 16:16

But my G~D shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Messiah Y'hshuah.  Philippians 4:19

This is clear.  G~D provides for HIS people.  I think this is becoming more real in my life as I watch our American economy be consumed literally by greed.  We are the first generation in America - the baby boomer's to inherit the legacy of debt.  Many of us will be faced with greater loss than the Great Depression, because our lives began when our nation was already trusting its own power, rather than G~D's provision.  I am not talking about stuff or instant anything.  Through the Great Depression, many did lose inherited farms and had to start over, but our generation doesn't have farms to lose.  We have never been agriculturally independent, and now there are very few jobs left to lose.  The one thing that should be easier for us than any other generation before us - We have never been able to trust our own provision, so self-reliance shouldn't get in the way of trusting G~D!

This prophetic devotion was given to me in 2004.

Get the Vision

Now YHVH had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee:  Genesis 12:1

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  Colossians 3:2

If you belong to G~D, this is not your home.  The things going on around us in this world are not to take our full focus.  The things we call "belongings" and priorities here in this world are strictly temporal.  As read these Scriptures, Adonai has reminded me, the land deal HE made with Abraham was to Abraham's descendants, not Abraham, himself.  Abraham had other ares of concern that G~D wanted him tending to.  It is still that way today for those of us in Covenant with YHVH.  Our concern and focus is set on HIS plan, not the things of this earth.

Y'hshuah Didn't Come to Start a New Religion

This Book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.  Joshua 1:8

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  Matthew 5:17

Y'hshuah's life and death and resurrection did not change what G~D proposed.  Y'hshuah set the example of how to live.  He was the perfect sacrificial Lamb, which met all the requirement and resolved the need.  His words on the cross, "It is finished," spoke clearly.  The example has been shown, obedience was taught, and the ransom has been paid.

Two Witnesses

Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?  And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?  And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.  Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.  Zechariah 4:11-14

And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.  These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.  Revelation 11:3,4

Interesting to note the reversed references contained above:  4:11 and 11:4.  I tend to notice reversed references in Scripture, there are others, and since it's the 4th of November, I just thought I'd [or perhaps been led to] post this today.  Both are referring to the two witnesses of the last days.  Please remember as speculation increases, moves produced and books are published, Y'hshuah said Elijah had already appeared.  There are now people studying and discussing the book of Enoch and Moses appeared on the mount of transfiguration, so . . . don't let presumptions cloud your view.  Just as no man knows the date or hour for Messiah's return, the identity of the witnesses has yet to be revealed.  I'm thinking contemporaries of the time that simply aren't here yet or haven't come into the fullness of their ministry at this time.

Choose Life

For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith ADONAI YHVH: wherefore repent, and live ye.  Ezekiel 18:32

YHVH is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  II Peter 3:9

G~D does not want evil for anyone.  HE's not sitting up there just waiting to visit wrath on humanity.  He is literally grieved when we choose death.  Remember HE made us in HIS image and then gave us the ability to choose.  HE even told us - HIS Way is life, disobedience is death.  Not only does HE long for us to choose life.  HE is patient to give us opportunity of choice again.  Everyday, we are faced with decision, or as I prefer to say; given the opportunity to choose HIS Will and HIS Way, for it is life.

Forgiveness

I, even I, am HE that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.  Isaiah 43:25

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of YHVH;  Acts 3:19

Isn't it wonderful that G~D has such a perfect selective memory.  Don't you wish more people had HIS kind of memory.  I realize, as a human, that's truly the type of memory I am supposed to have, and do desire, to reflect HIM in my life.  YHVH actually forgets our sins if we repent.  Only the enemy remembers them, so if someone is a constant reminder of your 'repented of' past, keep in mind, G~D has forgotten your transgressions and HE's the one in charge of eternity.
